The Nipple Project

Knit a nipple!

Californians Jennifer Baylis and Andrea M. Dominguez are the creative minds behind The Nipple Project.

Submit your own hand-made artistic interpretation of your nipple or of someone’s nipple you love. Send us a nipple made out of any material that can be woven or sewn into a large wall installation. We are creating a community based art installation consisting of 3-dimensional craft media such as knitting, crocheting, beading, sewing, and felting. Other alternative materials such as gourds, leather, metal, wood and other fibers are welcomed. The final piece will include all of the nipple submissions sewn, wired or stitched together to create a large hanging wall installation.

And they'll give you FREE knitted nipple patterns!

  3. I don't get it....I just don't and there is nothing anyone can say or do that will make me understand this.

What do you do with the nipple? Paste it to your 'gem sweater' and walk around reclaiming the part of the female anatomy that is the nipple?

Makes for a great coaster though.
